Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Last night I reread the novel "The Rosary" by Florence Barclay for the umpteenth time.

Who else has read this book? Did you like it or not?

I find it such a romantic story and it contains so many truths. I would love to read similar books to it. Could you recommend other titles?

Haven't read that one.. just read an old children's book on Catherine Laboure (sp?) and I want to find my copy of The Miracle of the Bells to reread it. It's not "Catholic" but I don't think there was anything anti-catholic in it.. but I need to reread it.
