I don't know if this has been posted here or not, but there is a neat weekly e-newsletter being published by 2 homeschooled boys on the theme of Lord of the Rings. I learned about it from the author of the "Literary Lessons Through LOTR" curriculum, which is, BTW, a GREAT literature curriculum!

So if any of you have kids who are into LOTR, I would say pre-teen or teen, this is a fun thing to sign up for. My son has an article in this issue :). It's been a motivating thing for him re. writing, to submit a few articles and have them read by others! My son prints and saves all the issues, and being a long-time LOTR fan, I've enjoyed reading them myself! :)
