Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What do you think of Unstead's books? Are there better resources out there? I'm culling books and realise we never use these, but then we may as dc get older. What do you think?

I loved these books in high school.   I checked them out of the school library again and again. I guess that's a bit strange -- I don't know if they are really available over here in the US, but I guess they are a bit like Usborne, aren't they?

Definitely keepers .

Incidentally, his People in History and Looking at History books were used in Charlotte Mason's Parents' Union Schools in the 1960s (before they went downhill hand drifted away from CM principles).
