Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can you share what your favorite read alouds...meaning other than picture books.....are for your youngers? My 4 and 3yr olds are really enjoying the first book of Betsy Tacy that I am reading to them. What are some other favorite chapter type books to read to young ones? My 4yr old is a boy, so something boyish-er for the next one might be good??

Was thinking maybe Charlotte's Web as they love the movie? But just have no clue

- The Chronicles of Narnia (especially The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader)

- Misty of Chincoteague

- The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

- Winnie-the-Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner

- Just-So Stories

- The Billy and Blaze series

- The Snipp Snapp Snurr series

- Farmer Boy (or and other Little House books, but my boys especially loved Almanzo.)

- The Burgess Bird Book for Children

- Thorton Burgess' Animal Books (The Adventures of Sammy Jay, etc)

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that my boys have really enjoyed.
