I ordered all four of the Adventures with Sister Philomena, Special Agent for The Pope and they are beautiful. I thought they were a bit expensive for something along the lines of a Nate the Great book, but they are much, much better than that. Full color beautiful illustrations, high gloss paper, italian vocabulary and phrases in the back, very well bound to last.

I'm only a few pages into the first one and I'm loving the very realistic portrayal of the little boy. I also appreciate the geography and famous places descriptions.

I almost only bought one in case I was disappointed, but so far I'm glad I splurged on all 4.

I'm so glad you like them, Martha. I agree that they are way more wonderful than I thought they would be. If you like the first one, you will love the rest.
I think they just get better as the series goes along.

I wish there were more series like that!
