I always love it when we check in and see what we're all reading to our kids or with our kids. I always pick up a few titles to put on my list.
Right now, we are listening to "Little Women" in the car. (What else is there to say?  )
"Anne of Windy Poplars" is our lunch time read aloud. I know this one is the sleeper of the series... but maybe not! We are finding it pretty funny...and very clever. Go, Anne!
At bedtime, we are reading "Ginger Pye". Oh, my- this book is hysterical.
I was surprised and delighted to find that Mr. Pye is a bird expert, so it fits in well with our bird studies. "Call in Mr. Pye!". Three year old Uncle Bennie, the Perpendicular Swimmer, the dog on the fire escape.... I didn't think Eleanor Estes could top "The Moffats", but I think she has. She has a gift for creating characters. I especially enjoy how she describes the inner workings of Ginger Pye's mind

Let's see....
St. Patrick's Day by Joyce Kessel. It's an OOP book from our library. The kids think it's hilarious that St. Patrick's given name was Maewyn.
We're also reading the d'Aulaire book George Washington. Today my 6YO discovered that he and George Washington have some things in common - they are both good at math and they both love the outdoors. 
At bedtime they are reading The Patchwork Girl of Oz with DH, which is book seven in the series.
My 10YO DS is also listening to the audio book Being George Washington for the third time. Time for me to find something else for him to listen to, I guess. He's also reading Reb and the Redcoats.
Oh, and I just finished The Hiding Place on my Kindle (wow!!!) and am now reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (which I'm not liking so much).

DD is reading The Hobbit (again) for Monday's literature study - we're doing this partly via the book and partly via audio CDs in the car, as she has a zillion Irish dance performances this month. Then, it's on to Fahrenheit 451.

I want to start my oldest reading the Uncle Eric books so I'm reading ahead. I have the first four and have read the first two and I've started on #3 "Whatever Happened to Justice".
And.. I want to start a new read aloud but not sure what.. something fun I think.. I know this fall when we start into the world wars that I want to read aloud "Snow Treasure". I'm just not sure what to pick for now.. maybe The Mysterious Benedict Society hmmmm

My favorite "fun" book is No More Dead Dogs by Gordon Korman. It's hilarious.

At night, my husband is reading Mossflower to the older children.
I am reading Devotional Stories for Little Folks to the children in the morning. I like to read this book and its companion whenever I have a seven year old in the house.
We are listening to The Bronze Bow in the car. I did not realize what this book was about when we checked it and the audio CDs (we do not care for the narrator's voice) out from the library, but I did know that my older daughters and I tend to like Elizabeth George Speare's writing. It is a perfect read-aloud for Lent. My eldest son liked the beginning of the book so much that he took it and read it on his own. He is having a hard time not sharing what happens.
My personal reading currently includes Uniformity with God's Will (a booklet) and This Tremendous Lover. I highly recommend both the booklet and the book.

My oldest is reading lots of ancient Greeks, The Time Machine by Jules Verne and Diary of Anne Frank which she is enjoying.
My 8yo is reading The Doll's House by Rumer Godden and The Book of Dragons by E. Nesbit.
We just finished all of our Frog and Toad with my 7yo and have just started Mouse Tales also by Arnold Lobel.
Lent/Easter/spring/garden picture books for the little ones and the older ones that end up listening too .
I'm rereading When Children Love to Learn by Elaine Cooper and trying to get through CM volume 3. (I'm not very exciting, it's hard for me to pick up a novel/fiction. I just get interrupted to many times  , so I end up just reading along with the kids)

We just finished All of a Kind Family - Sydney Taylor and now are reading Linnets and Valerians - Elizabeth Goudge. With ds12 I'm reading Lord Brocktree - Brian Jacques. (The first I've read since Jacques died, seems so sad to know that)

Our family read aloud is 'The Little Duke' by Charlotte Yonge.
My read alouds with each child are:
with 12 yr. old--Ivanhoe
with 11 yr. old--The Lightening Thief
with 9 yr. old--The One and Only Ivan
My oldest is reading the last book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and my ds (the 11 yr. old) is reading 'The Great Brain.'

Still working our way through Little House - we are on These Happy Golden Years. Last summer we traveled to Pepin, WI and Walnut Grove. This summer we hope to get to Independence, KS and Mansfield, MO.
If we ever finish I have some great ones in the queue like The Hobbit and Swallows and Amazons.
