Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Everyone,

I am about to join a homeschoolers mothers bookclub.

We tossed a few ideas around and eventually came up with Emma- Jane Austen.
My 13 near 14 dd has been invited to join the book club.
I myself have not read this book.
will this be suitable for her to read as a read aloud with me and then discuss in the bookclub meet.
From reviews I have read it appears fine, I just wanted any other things I should look out for.
Thanks Leanne

I can't think of anything that would be too mature for that age at all.

My daughter read it last year (9th grade) and really enjoyed it.
