Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'd like to recommend:
The Great Good Thing by Roderick Townley.
Excellent story with a unique premise: the main character is actually a character in a storybook! Interesting exploration of how characters "live" in books, in our dreams, and in our memories.
Highly recommend for ages 12 and up, especially for girls who love books and reading.
This was one of my middle daughter's very favorite books in middle school and I just now got around to reading it myself. It captured me from the very first line:"Sylvie had an amazing life, but she didn't get to live it very often."
Enjoy!

Thanks Theresa, I'm going to check it out. My 12 year dd just can't seem to get enough reading material. She just got a kindle for her birthday, downloaded her first borrowed book and is thrilled.

This sounds great for my daughters. Will definitely have to see if the library carries it. Thanks for sharing!
