Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is anyone familiar with this series of books by John Blaine?

Kind of looks like a Hardy Boys type based on the science adventures of Rick Brant.

I recently picked up The Ruby Ray Mystery
at a thrift store- it looks intriguing. I like the Shazaam lightning bolt symbol on the spine.

Amazon doesn't have much to say about the series... looks like it is out of print?

here is another title, which looks good:

Can't believe I haven't ever heard of these - they do look like"science-themed" Hardy Boys. Will be interested if anyone has experience.

My 10yo son just read The Flaming Mountain on my Kindle. He was not too impressed, but sadly, reading is not his favorite hobby. You can find several in the series to download for free.
