I came across two books published under the "Windermere Readers" name in the 1950s, by Rand McNally & Company. Many are illustrated by Milo Winter. I don't see any markings that they are abridged, and they seem such nice editions. The print is a good size, the paper is sturdy -- nice to hold and readWould anyone know anything about them? Mainly, are they abridged?
