Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I told a friend I would ask here since there's those who have read all the Ranger's Apprentice series.

Is there magic and/or wizardry in them?

I've only read the first and it seems to me that it was just monsters with odd abilities, no magic??

Dear Jodie,
There is no magic or wizardry in these.
It is a bit medieval in type.
The main character is an apprentice ranger: like Robin Hood type and you have Knights, Couriers etc.
Very, Very good Reading.
We are all, including Me and Stephen are waiting for the next one to come out in November. We will have to buy at least 2 copies to share around
