Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My daughter has some credit at Amazon books, and she wants to get Huckleberry Finn and Treasure Island.
I wasn't expecting 20 different books of the same title to come up. I know with different publishers, different covers are used. But my concern is the content. Are some 'revised' or changed in any way?

We just want the "ORIGINAL CLASSICS". Would that be the 'unabridged classic' ones? That sounds like the most original, but it's hardcover and more $. If she got a paperback, she could get more books for her money. Does it matter which we choose, or are they really all the same??

A good way to check would be to go to a real store or library and browse. Or, sometimes at Amazon you can peek inside, and it should tell you if the version is unabridged. Do not rely on the reviews as they often use the same reviews for several versions.

Thanks for that suggestion MacBeth.
'Unabridged' would be what we want, is that right??
