I would really like to purchase the newer versions of PLL and ILL, but will have to wait and see how the conference $ pans out. (i.e. any leftover money!) Still might be fun to study the farming since the younger boys will be using it.
I was looking for life on the farm type books to show an overview or what it is like etc. (Sort of like "Life in a Colonial Villiage" type book?? That is the first thing that comes to mind. Maybe a little old fashioned like Little House, BUT it would be for two boys ages 8 and 11. They will both be using ILL this year and some of the references are to cows, farming and other farm-type situations. I thought it would be nice to read a little on the side so they would know a little about it.
