Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm looking into reading this to my littles. According to the back, "Tolkein called this forgotten classic a sourcebook for The Hobbit. A whimsical delight for readers of all ages, E.A. Wyke-Smith's enthralling tale is a must for any Lord of the Rings fans."

So has anyone read it?

The Marvelous Land of Snergs

Mary, How do you find all this great stuff?!?

Really, tell me how!

I added that to my amazon wish list. Looks like tons of fun!

Have you read/seen The Finn Family Moomintroll? Not exactly a fairy tale, but close.

I had to look at this thread....

I'd never heard of this book but the title alone sounds like what we'll be going through at the hospital with dh!
