All Catholic Books is having a 40%! off all Bethlehem Books sale ... I'm not sure how long this one is going to last but these are all such wonderful living lit books ... my kids have really enjoyed the Mitchells and at 40% off, that's a great deal (too bad we already bought 'em at full price  )

Here are further details on the sale -- seems it will run till June 2nd and you should click COD and they'll email you with the appropriate total ...

I think the 40% is off the original retail price, not off the All Catholic Books discounted price. PLEASE tell me I'm wrong.

I just placed an order from them. The 4o% is off the All Catholic Books price. I was able to get 4 books for less than $36.00 postage included.
Thank you Mary. Just yesterday I was looking at Bethlehem books for summer read alouds....this is great!
I ordered some of the Mitchells series. A friend told me that her kids really enjoyed them.

How do I know which titles are included in the sale? I'm interested in the historical fiction in the timeline link Steff provided.
Are these books published by Bethlehem? When I pulled up the book description I didn't find a publisher listed.

Hi all,
A friend and I both placed orders using their COD option today. We got emails back from them with totals that were less than 40% off the All Catholic Books prices. Both of us questioned the discount via email and Mark sent the following back to me:
"Our prices are already 25% off. So, we add another 15% to give you 40% off of FULL RETAIL.
We cannot give away books at 40% off of our discounted price. Thanks."
I just wanted to clarify for others who were considering making an order.
Jennifer, it looks like you got lucky and ordered before the company realized that they had discounted the books too low by taking 40% off their already discounted prices. They must have made a change at some point.

What a great deal.
I would love to have taken advantage of this deal but alas I don't just live around the corner, plus with the time difference I got it to late anyway. 
Thanks Stef for that timeline, it really gives me a framework to go by, very handy.
