I keep meaning to start this thread, but I keep procrastinating. So, I'm just going to throw it out there and come back with my own recs later

We have Netflix but no television--so, we use Instant Viewing pretty frequently. I haven't found a good way to browse and know what is available for this feature and seem to just stumble upon some of the best stuff available.

I was thrilled to see they added ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL recently!

CHARIOTS OF FIRE is another family favorite that is available and comes to mind readily.

Also, we'd never seen the movie COME TO THE STABLE, but it is an absolutely delightful film about nuns coming to America to start a hospital for children. We came across it as a Christmas movie, but I can't really see how anything except the opening scene has anything to do with Christmas.

I would like to use this more.........but have not found many movies we want to watch.......esp on the small screen. Our big screen has us spoiled.

Is that the series, all creatures??? That would be cool for my ones who missed when they were little.....or not born yet!

COME TO THE STABLE is a HUGE favorite around here!

Let me know what else you find............I had trouble finding safe stuff.

When I click on our "Watch Instantly" tab and scroll through the recommendations, one of the sections is "Watch It Again". Here are some that we would watch again:

THE SCARLET AND THE BLACK
A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS
LES MISERABLES (1998)
THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION
THE GREEN MILE
YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU (I think some of us have talked about this being a favorite movie before

)

GOING MY WAY is in our queue along with COME TO THE STABLE and PICTURING MARY (which I see is only available until March 1, 2009...better watch that next!).

As for TV we loved watching THE OFFICE. I think that has been discussed elsewhere on the boards, too.

We also liked BLEAK HOUSE.
