Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

They're hilarious, but a bit risque at times. There's quite of bit of s*xual humor in there.

VERY risque! I was shocked when I read the first Stephanie Plum novel, but it was so incredibly funny that I had to keep reading. I read them for brain candy when I need a break from serious stuff and I can often be found in a bubble bath for 2+ hours while I'm reading one! I borrow them from the library so that I don't technically contribute monetarily to the author I don't feel quite so guilty that way and I get to enjoy a walk on the wild side! They are so ridiculously funny and I recommend them with a reservation about the content.

Blessings,
Betsie

Yes, "brain candy"! That's a good description of them. I love the Grandma Mazur character. Very, very hilarious! I also have borrowed them from the library.
