I thought this was appropriate for this forum as it's about a grass-roots evangelization thru the media ...

Does anyone know about The MaxForce -- they're the grassroots movement to get films like Nativity out to the public, to evangelize using the modern means of communication. Matthew Pinto is the President of the Maximus Group who helped get The Passion distributed and to the public.

Any info? It sounds like a great movement, but it also gives me a slight hesitancy becuase it's not completely open?

I guess it's the way they're marketing to active Catholics. You kind of have to search to find out who is behind the MaxForce and they're not real clear on what you are signing up for .... did you click the link to the MaxForce?

I'm probably just being paranoid but I've gotten into some seemingly inocuous apostolates only to find they were a bit cultish -- like RC..... I just want to be sure that it's as above board as it sounds!
