Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My husband and I started The Twenty-Four Glory Be to the Father's Novena to St. Therese http://www.olrl.org/pray/] which has Ecclesiastical approval.

I'm so excited as my husband and I have never done a Novena TOGETHER ever! God is working. My husband loves the Glory Be prayer.

You might know of this Novena already, but I thought I'd share it.

It is a wonderful Novena! My dh and I started praying this each month many many years ago. It was the first prayer that we said together (besides the family rosary) it has such a special meaning to each of us. We had just started our journey into homeschooling and we were feeling so lonely as a family so we started this novena to give us strength, courage, wisdom in this decision. Well we were out together at an antique shop and I turned around and there was a wonderful picture of St. Theresa. I stood there looking at it and tears just started flowing. My dh found me and we just stood there holding hands gazing at her. Finally my dh found out how much it was, it was a little pricey for us at that time but she came home with us and is gazed upon daily with much love from us all as we continue each month asking her for help. Thanks for letting me share a wonderful memory and letting others know about this truly wonderful novena and that it is a great one for a husband and wife to do together!

God bless, Jackie

Jackie, Thanks so much for sharing that. You've been on my mind.

Marianne, I am off to check it out!
