I am looking for inexpensive or free pictures of the apostles. My 6 yo son is doing a visual display of the Apostles after reading about the call of the Apostles. We are reading a brief life of each apostle and I thought it would be neat for him to add a picture under the name on each footstep (The Apostles Followed Jesus)as we finished reading this life. I'd love the picture to include the apostles symbol. Obviously we are doing Matthias instead of Judas on the poster, but we have looked at classical art depicting the 12 at the Last Supper and then 11 at the descent of the Holy Spirit.

It would be great if I could just print them off the internet - but I am willing to purchase them if they are not too expensive. Just wondering if anyone knew of any such resource. Thanks.

I don't know of any resources for this, but I recently purchased a Xyron 900 which allows me to make stickers of anything I can print off. Additionally there are cartridges for laminating and making magnets - which I'm using in place of felt boards. Just another thought.

Janet, if I want something like this I just look for pictures using a Google images search. The thumbnails that come up with the search are usually a nice size for timelines and would probably do the job for you.
