Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can anyone offer their opinion on the new T3, timeline for teens based on Cavin's Great Bible Adventure?

We would like to purchase one of these for our family but am uncertain whether we should get the orginal or the T3.

Thanks

Nicole,
I am not familiar with the T3 timeline, but I did use the original with my then 12 and 13 year old sons and they really enjoyed it and didn't feel like it was too difficult.

You might ask the mom who sells RC History as this is recommended in their Salvation History unit in the high school level. We got the old one before the other came out - but I think she is using the new one now. Since she has seen both, she might be willing to tell you a bit more. I know the price was a difference - the new one is more costly. Also the workbook timeline is filled in now (at least in the workbook stuff) but if you purchase through her you can still get the blank timeline, I believe.

Nicole,

We just got it and have watched the first talk. I haven't seen the original, but T3 looks good.

One caveat - watch it first if you'll be using it with younger kids (I have 5th - 11th who are watching). I previewed the second talk and will be skipping some when we watch it together - some good talk about covenants and s*x, but not appropriate for the younger kids. I'm hoping this is just confined to this one talk.

The old one did not have anything in it that I was uncomfortable with my youngers hearing. We all did the timeline together - even with the 6 yo (obviously, he didn't write on a timeline but listened to the tape and watched me as we put it together). Sometimes the littlers wandered but that is OK. We have the timeline up to look at as we read through the O.T. now. Glad for the heads up about the new one.
