Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Next year I would like to once a week video of someone who really made a difference(priests/saints/even just average people). I wanted to change it from reading about them and do a once a week video. That said there are many good ones and I was wondering about some suggestions on the ones others have seen and liked. I would like ideally 36 different ones but I would be very happy to find 15-20.

Love to hear your suggestions.

How old are your kids?
Mine were touched by Mother Teresa but I would guess it would be better for kids 10+ . Not that youngers could not watch it.

Some movies that come to my mind include:

Jesus of Nazareth
War of the Vendee
St. Bernadette of Lourdes - scheduled to be on EWTN on the 8th of this month at 8:00 p.m. ET
Fighting Fr. Dunne (only available on VHS)
Boys Town
For Greater Glory (not for young children, preview first)
The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima
Monsieur Vincent (preview first)
The Reluctant Saint
The Scarlet and the Black
Therese - The acting isn't great, but still I have watched this film twice.

Scroll to the top of the screen. Click "SETTINGS". When you are in that screen, click "PROFILE". Scroll down until you see the section for "SIGNATURE" and fill it in!!

I really like The Inn of the Sixth Happiness. The main character is a Protestant missionary, though, one of the things that mortified the woman on whom the movie is based was the added love story. The man with whom she shares the love story in the movie was a Catholic priest in real life!
