dear ladies,
this is just a big, heartfelt thank you to all of you of the forum. i've been reading for almost a year now (i think) and a member for some months, though i dont post much. this forum has so enriched my family life i am nearly speechless.

we are celebrating the twelve days of christmas in a quiet way now, something special everyday and good stories, getting ready for the Epiphany.

advent was beautiful- i managed to convince my husband to wait to set up the christmas tree until christmas eve and our jesse tree with handmade ornaments took front and center stage with our creche growing a little every week. its the second year we have had the jesse tree, third year for the wreath and candles... my older daughter knew what to expect this year and it was just all so beautiful.

it was here i learned about "the year and our family" and i have been trying to incorporate prayers, blessings and puppet shows (so fun!). and here that i learned of tomie de paola's "joy to the world" christmas collection which really set the tone for us.

i am so grateful for the inspiration and encouragement that i find here.

Oh yes! this is so true. All the sharing benefits everyone so much.

The books I used during Advent this year are also ones that I found through recommendations here. These ladies are just FULL of the BEST information.
