My daughter who'll be 15 in about a month is the youngest in the high school CCD class. They're going to start Theology of the Body for Teens from Ascention Press. But the teacher caught me today and offered me the student book so that I can look through it this week before they start it.

I think it'll be fine for my daughter. But I'll finish reading through it anyway just to check.. plus it's interesting

You may want to browse the teacher guide too.

It's a neat program, but I had my own concerns about it as CRE that I was cautious about certain topics and let the parents in detail what was coming up.

I learned so much watching the Theology of the Body for Teens series on EWTN.

Do dig into it deeply. Our middle school CCD class is going through it now and one of my dear friends has concerns about some of the topics.

oh for middle school.. definately not. I've read 8 chapters at this point.

I did share a chapter with my 13 yr old son because it's something we've talked about otherwise and it can be beneficial to hear some information from a third party.

And I'm ok with it so far. Definately written for more worldy kids.. ones in public schools that are exposed to a lot more. Lots of stuff that the closest my daughter has been is an occational tv show. But nothing that is a "deal breaker" for this child (my almost 15 yr old) especially since I know the teachers (one is the godmother of 2 of my kids).
