Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My girls will be receiving sacraments on Easter Vigil. In September we started the CIC program.

My husband consented however, being a non-Catholic, he's not hugely supporting. He doesn't practice anything(hence the delay in getting this done). But the littlest started talking about it, and I approached it, and he stated that he had no objection, but it couldn't interfere with their sports.

I prayed long and hard on this one. I explained to him it was very important.

My kids are very athletic. Highly involved in sports. So in past years the schedule has been a challenge. But I decided this year, before the youngest started having erratic scheduling we'd get this done. Less likelihood of scheduling.

The older girl has an erratic schedule. By the grace of God, she has yet to have anything scheduled on her class night, which is Wednesday. Not once, and I have the rest of her schedule, and there is no thing to conflict on the Wednesday. other than one weekend out of town she will have no Sunday conflicts either. And it isn't a highly important day, she'll be able to go over it with Sr. later.

I have most of the younger ones schedule. We have had no Wednesday issues so far. I don't have her practice schedule, but I have her game schedule. There is one Sunday she'll miss practice, and one game she'll miss, but that is it! There is potentially one Sunday practice time coming up, but so far they have been at late times that don't affect!

This has been so easy. Dh stated he'd rather not miss the game, but since it's only one :)

I'm so absolutely grateful that the kids will attend everything!

I haven't missed any Sunday obligations since there are so many to chose from, so I was concerned about the scheduled times for CIC. But we're good!

God is never outdone in generosity. Thanks for sharing that beautiful little testimony. My husband always calls little graces like this "love-notes from God." I think it very a propos!

Peace.
