Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I printed out two sets of the St. Nicholas cards and the boys and I played games with them yesterday. First we did the standard match game. The cards are different dimensions but my boys are young so they didn't really notice. Also, I gave each boy one set and we played a sort of Where's Waldo type game. I'd ask them to find the cards that contained the three boys in the pickle barrel. We had read a picture book about St. Nicholas earlier so the meaning of the images was reinforced. It made for a great afternoon!

Thanks for linking it, Amanda.

I thought they were beautiful images. I guess I should have mentioned they were images, not actual holy cards with prayers and all.
