Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We're planning a trip up interstate 75 between Chattanooga, Tennessee and Lexington, Kentucky and we're looking for your suggestions of Stations of the Cross in larger than life sculpture and other must see chrches or religious spots along the way. Thanks in advance and have great Thanksgiving!

Here is a site with some links for the Southern regions.

A lot of Catholic History is in the Bardstown/Louisville area (Bardstown was the first inland Diocese). St. Martin of Tours in Louisville has full skeletal relics of wo early Christian martyrs, Magnus and
Bonosa.

If you come a little further up to Northern Kentucky, you can see the world's largest stained glass window in a church at St. Mary's Cathedral Bascilica in Covington, KY. There is also the tiniest church in the world in Crestview Hill, KY on the campus of Thomas More College.

Here are the parish listings for the Diocese of Lexington which extends south to the border on I-75.

Hope this helps!
