I was just browsing a thread about religious decor and gifts...and wanted to ask, What are good religious groups to buy their music these days? Things my kids might like (they are young...but they like music!). I grew up with Jars of Clay and Newsboys when I was a teen...I wonder what good Catholic artists there are, with upbeat music?

I can't recommend Audrey Assad enough. She's a young Catholic woman with an amazing voice and thoughtful lyrics that is really breaking into the music scene!! Audrey is a good friend of my little sister's, and is truly a lovely young woman! This is reflected in her lyrics, which also reflect her Catholic faith. She is very appealing to young people, but really, her lyrics and music have a wide appeal. Her first album This House Your Building is available on itunes, and she's releasing another album this coming February.

In addition to Audrey, my teen enjoys Johnny Diaz and Kari Jobe.
