Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Our church doesn't offer this and it is something that I would really love to do daily. Even if they offered it, I would rarely be able to go in this season of life. I was wondering if we were allowed to have a monstrance with the Holy Eucharist in a special devotional area in our home.

I suspect it's not. But I really don't know.

but I wanted to recommend a book.. Eucharistic Miracles by Joan Carroll Cruz it'll turn your thoughts to the Eucharist and I thought it might help with a devotion at home if you can't physically have the Eucharist there.

It looks like it is forbidden. I thought as much, but just wanted to make sure!

I don't know if this will interest you but you can view a monstrance live via webcam here

Thankfully my parish has 24 hour adoration but sometimes it's hard to get out.

I 2nd the recommendation for the book Eucharistic miracles, during the month of April since it was liturgically dedicated to the Holy Eucharist we used this book to do family 'micro-plays' on the miracles. Lots of fun and respectful educational play. Very interesting! My son is only 5 going on 6 very soon but he got really into it.
