Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm trying to decide what books I'd like to get to use for faith, virtues and habits formation for my 7 and 4 year old girls. I found a couple of different ones on Amazon that looked interesting, but wanted to see if any of you had them and had any thoughts or advice...

The first one I saw was Catholic Prayer Book for Children, the table of contents looked very promising, but I probably won't care for the illustrations at all...

The second was Children's Book of Classic Catholic Prayers, but one reviewer said that it had no illustrations (although it says it does in the description) and that it was boring for children. The preview only showed one page so I couldn't get a real feel for the book.

I'm trying to not lay out a lot of money on a bunch of books although I've seen so many books I'd love to get.

Oh, another question. I've seen Angel Food for Boys and Girls on the web (I'd love to have this!), and I've also seen Catholic Stories for Boys and Girls (these look wonderful as well). I know they have different authors, but they are the same price, have the same publisher, and look really similar. I probably wouldn't be able to ever get these, but... Is there much of a difference between the two? And which do you like better?
