Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A couple years ago our family made some Baptism Anniversary Mats to celebrate the anniversary of each child's baptism every year.

Then as of last year we decided to use these on the Baptism of our Lord's Feast Day. I thought some of you crafty parents might be interested in doing this with your families too.

I love this idea! You could actually make these for just about any feast day you wanted! It would be sooooo cool! I am totally making these for my kids and my Godkids! I think I will laminate a copy of their baptismal certificate to the back of the mat. I wonder if I could still track down the pictures and stuff to make them for my husband and I as well ???

This concept kinda reminds me of liturgical folders or lapbooks. Thanks so much for sharing this! The cogs in my head are turning!

Great Idea! And also falls in line with how to have a prettier and toddler friendly table that I was asking on a while back.... I think we will do this after the Christmas Hubub dies down.

I would say it was a bit harder to get good quality pictures of my kids who were baptized before digital cameras! I also used the internet ALOT. Especially to get pictures of the different Catholic churches because we moved a couple times.

HTH.
