Today I posted a review of the CCC movies, and I think they're really great movies for Catholic kids! I've been hearing about them for a long time and I was not disappointed. I was just wondering what you all thought about these movies and which ones are your kid's favorites!
Also, what age groups do you guys think these movies are good for? My kids are 4 and 2, and they love them. I've been told they're great for kids of all ages, but I don't have kids of all ages and I was wondering if ya'll thought my 9 year old brother would still be interested??? I'm his Godmother and his Baptism birthday is coming up, but I don't want to get him something he's too old for.

Lacy,
I really think it depends on the 9 year old. My 10 year old daughter still loves them! I would get the St. Francis Xavier one for him if you decide to go that route. And can I say how cool it is that you have a 9 year old bother! Go Mom and Dad!

My kids love them. I even use them in the 6th grade RE class I teach, and they love them too!

Yes, he was quite a surprise to all of us! There's no other kids between me and him, but I also have one older brother.

MY dc 6 and 8 still love them. Francis Xavier is very exciting, and they love St. Nicholas as well.
There are several other opinions and reviews here:
CCC reviews
I wish they would make more.

Ok, there are so many amazing threads in this forum, it's like we don't even need to talk anymore. I'll never get through it all!

I love revisiting topics- you always get a new perspective. It is good to hear fresh voices or to see how people feel later, after time has passed.
Were you able to see Ben Hur? We still don't have that one, but I'm thinking about getting it....

Yes, and I liked it a lot! The story was great. I wasn't that excited about the 'non saint' movies, but I did end up liking it. Great for boys! I actually liked it better than the Columbus one.
