Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello ladies,
This might sound a bit silly seeing as I live in Australia . I recently read a post where someone mentioned they bought a book over the internet from an Australian Catholic bookshop. I bookmarked the site, but my computer has since crashed and I lost all my bookmarks . Does anyone have any idea which shop this may be?
Thank you.

Hi Natalie

Could it have perhaps been Portico books in Sydney? Or was it St Rita's in Perth?
or John XXIII Bookshop in Melbourne? If it was none of them I'll think of some more
Then again the cheapest option if carried for us Aussies is my very fav. Book Depository in the UK with FREE postage.

Hi Erin

Neither of those stores looked familiar. I'm hoping to buy some of the Windeatt books. St Rita's had them, but I am so used to buying cheap books from Book Depository that they seem quite expensive. Unfortunately BD doesn't have many of these books.

Thanks Erin.

Betterworld have lots of reasonable prices. Postage from there is either $4 or $8USD dependent on whether it is from their warehouse or a seller. Another favourite of mine is Abe books, they have several titles prices vary from Free to usually $13 tops. Often I will buy used there and am still happy with quality and price. Addall is a new one for me and I haven't yet used them but their prices will vary depending on who is selling.

Oh if you want to buy from Betterworld the code for 15% off 4 or more used books until August the 15th is WOOF154. The code for Abe books for 10% off up to max of $15 is JNC10.

Hope this helps.

I think the link you maybe looking for is St George bookshop, in Melbourne. It has changed hands but still the same place apparently,

I found a fantastic site for Aussie book buyers. Just put booko into google and you'll find it. It finds the book and gives you a list of suppliers from cheapest to most expensive including postage and changes it to $AU.

Love it!

Have you always found booko to be accurate? I had a comment from a friend that she didn't. But my friend could have been mistaken. I have to say I haven't really used it even though Leanne told me about it.
