Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm not familiar with this author or the book, but am interested to read it. Has anyone read The Eternal Woman?

Perhaps I should buy two copies and send one to Nancy Pelosi?

Wow, that looks interesting. I took a peek at a few pages and put it on my wish list. Thanks for sharing!

Tina, I have not read this book, but I have read other writings of Gertrud von le Fort. She is excellent. Such a deep sense of catholocism that is dying out in Germany. I hope it is a good translation, because her language is very beautiful.
Go for it!

Yes, what Stephanie said. Gertrud von le Fort is a classic Catholic author. Her works are treasures and come highly recommended.
