Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone use Open Wednesday to prepare their children for Sunday Mass? I've looked at it several times but I want to make sure it's not too liberal. I would like something pretty orthodox. I'd like to know your opinions.
Thanks!

Becky, I haven't seen anything liberal in Open Wednesday. I do think it's one of the most solid Catholic Sunday prep on the Internet.

Not only do I not think it's liberal, I also appreciate that it's not too touchy-feely.

I couldn't find it for a while, the link was bad. I'm glad Gwen reposted the new home page.

I used Open Wednesday when my children were younger. I had quite forgotten about it until this post. I will have to check it out again.

Great! I used it for the first time this morning and the kids were really enthused. In my brief search I didn't see anything of concern, but I thought I'd ask just in case.
Thanks!

I've used it for years and have always found it solid.

We have always used the downloadable picture for the children to color in Mass. I keep some of those nifty twist up crayons just for that in my purse.
They are all able to follow along now (the younger ones, that is).
