I don't know of any small ones, but one thing I do is download coloring sheets from the internet, reduce their size, and staple them together to make my own little coloring books. Sometimes I don't staple them and leave them as individual sheets as dd tends to spend more time on each one that way.
Here is a link to tons of online coloring pages you can print up:

CHC also has some in their free curriculum section. There is also a rosary coloring book available online, but I can't find the link right now. I will look for it.

Dover has some "stained glass" coloring books, like this one which features guardian angels.

Hi Mary,
If you wanted to print and store coloring pages (as Theresa mentioned above) you could keep them in this small binder. I have a couple of these binders ~ they're just the right size for little hands .
You could make a decorative cover with religious papers and stickers and such (the front has a see-thru cover). You could even insert a plastic pouch inside to hold crayons ... of course this all might be getting a bit carried away !

Mary,
These aren't as small as the Dover ones, but Pauline Books has some wonderful coloring books that are thin and appropriate material.

Wow Mary,
Just yesterday I was saying to 16 yo dd that we needed to make up a "Mass Bag" for 16mo. dd. We were talking about creating a mini coloring book with the scanner and computer. Dd will be doing all the resizing and printing. If it works out I'll send it to you!
BTW, what else do your babies have to take to mass? Dd has little crucifix that Fr. gave her and I thought a couple of laminated holy cards would be good. Do you think anything more is a bit much?

wow, you all have such good suggestions! I may have to get a few of each and try them all. the dover small sized books are so nice because they fit perfectly in her lap.
gwen, i do have a mass bag. inside i keep a knotted rosary, 2 mass books (one board and child's guide to the mass), a mesh zippered bag of crayons, a few small sized coloring books and tissues.
i think the laminated holy cards (maybe on a circular clip) would be fantastic!

I just gave my baby godchild a keyring with laminated holy cards on it. I simply punched a hole in the top left hand corner and slipped them onto the ring. I chose a Baptism card, a Guardian Angel card, and her "Saints name" cards. It was a hit!

A book was mentioned on another thread called Guiding Your Catholic Preschooler. I think there were suggestions in there for making a mass bag for a small child.

There were suggestions, but pretty much everything that's been mentioned here already !
From Guiding Your Catholic Preschooler:
"Take religious toys to Mass, rather than secular toys. Have a "Mass Bag" prepared in advance and kept in a special place where you can find it each time you attend Mass. Use it only for Mass, too, so it doesn't become "boring." Fill it with small statues of Jesus and Mary or a saint, a rosary, a small Bible or religious storybooks, and holy cards. Cars, dolls and dinosaurs may sneak in, but hide them or replace them with others if possible. Do what you can to prevent the child's mind from wandering from what is important during this hour."
