Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Gals , I've been searching again online native american catholic info and came across this Abbey
they have so much info like books , retreats etc. I then came across learning about Bartolome de las Casas just some interesting and example of living in faith . I really want to try and focus on promting Black Elk more too . So many new agey people promote him because of him being a healer etc. not realizing he also was a very devote catholic to his death . anyway enjoy the read . God Bless ,
Roxie

Roxie, we have a very large Native American population about 20 miles north of us. Our parish priest is one of several who celebrates Sunday mass with them at The Church of the Little Flower. I've gone several times and have been very taken with the beauty of the interior and the simplicity of the Mass. When I've mentioned this to other people in our town, I've been amazed that no one has realized there are many Native American Catholics.
