Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Any resources out there for simple flash cards of the Baltimore Catechism? A google search didn't turn up anything for me. If I can find something cheap/free it will be totally worth it rather than having to make them myself right now!

ETA: Related question - what is the difference between the different Baltimore Catechisms? We have the First Communion Catechism and the BC#1, but how are they different from #2, 3, or 4? Thanks!

I uploaded a set of flashcards into the files section of the CHCchat yahoo group a while back.

They have all the Q&A for both the #1 and #2 (#1 black, #2 green) but use the #2 numbering.

The main difference between #1 and #2 is that #2 has more questions and fuller answers.

All the questions in #1 are in #2.

#2 is at a middle school, Jr High level and #3 is at a highschool level. Seton states that #3 has the same Q&A as #2 but with deeper explanations. #4 was a reference book for Catechists.

It also depends on which Baltimore Catechism one is using - we have 3 sets (original, New American, St. Joseph). The original has the correlating numbers (so the 1st book skips some numbers), but the other sets do not.

These aren't really printable but I did run across these flashcard-like quiz games at Quizlet and these 30 Day Traditional Catholic Catechism Flashcards.
