Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've recnetly put two things together and don't know how to go about it. One friend mentionned that it is possible to borrow relics from the places that hold them (I think she said it is often a church or convent?) - and another friend advised me to pray to St maria Goretti for her help with an issue. I was thinking of some rather scary events I have ahead of me, and how much it would help to have a relic of St Maria Goretti.

Is it true that you can borrow relics? And how do you find out where to enquire about it? Or am I just getting muddled up?

You can borrow relics ... they cannot be sold. What you might want to do is find so Church that has her relics or a convent or a friend that has a reliquary of her remains. Relics cannot be sold ... but the reliquary or whatever houses the relic can be or a donation given.

Barring finding something locally, try googling for "Maria Goretti relics" and see if you can find some that you could borrow.

Blessings and hugs and prayers headed your way for all the "scary events" coming up.
