Hi,

I recently purchased Catholic Mosiac. A Year with God, is one of the recommended books. Do you think that this book is necessary to do the program? It is quite expensive so I wanted to make sure that I would use it. Please let me know if you have used this book.

I don't have time to search, but I think we discussed this a few times here before, so the conversations might be useful to you. I have never used my Year with God. There are so many online resources for feast days and I have other books that I use that I never even crack the book to search for ideas.

Also, a point was made that some parents with boys think the projects are a little more geared towards girls' interests. That might help shape your decision.

I'd recommend finding a friend that you can peruse the book and see if you would use it before buying. I'd also suggest finding a used copy for less money from this forum or CathSwap, etc.
