Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My grandmother is very very ill. Everyday I hear about different functions being lost. I don't know if she has days, weeks, maybe months.

But I would like to pray something more than "We pray for Nana, for her not to suffer and for her peace." I know that can do the job, but I'd like something else too. I thought about googling but I thought you ladies might have something too. I think it would be nice to have a prayer for my children to say each day for her. Not that this probably matters, but she isn't Catholic, so I don't have any prayers to give to her to pray herself. She is far away so I don't know where she is spiritually on that front (she is Methodist).

Anyways, thanks for any help!

Oh prayers for her Kacky and that's a neat idea. We usually just say the usual prayers.   I'll look to see if there's anything in my prayer books?

I have never posted before, but I felt really called to post here. Do you have the Pieta Prayer book? I really love the prayers for the dying among all the other prayers in that little but very rich gem of a Prayer book.
