I've been in charge of our children's liturgy since September and have been searching for some good material that will help the children learn the message from the gospel reading in a short period of time. Originally, I had been very unhappy with the way it was run (a different parent each week and some made little to no effort to prepare anything! )

In my search for lessons for the kids, I re-discovered Sermons 4 Kids. At first, I'd discounted it as it is not catholic. However, it does follow the readings from the common lectionary and I've been pleasantly surprised with what I've there! I have an email sent weekly from them with suggestions for the following Sunday's gospel and the quality of the materials they provide has been very good! Of course, the readings may differ occasionally and I suppose one might have to watch out for any "catholic bashing" but I've been quite pleased so far.
