My 2nd grader has to learn the 10 commandments. I was looking for ideas and found some neat ideas, but many of them had the comm. 9 and 10 combined and a different one for #2. So anyway, I wrote a poem for her that helped her learn them quickly and I thought I'd share:

You shall have no gods but Me
Do Not use God's name as profanity
Keep holy the Sabbath day
Treat parents in an honorable way
Do not kill or take a life
Respect marriage and family life
Do not steal
Do not lie
Do not covet your neighbor's wife
Do not covet your neighbor's life.

Anyway, just thought it might help someone else. The rhythm helped her get it down.
