Does anyone know for sure which it is? My dd has chosen Kateri for her confirmation name and is doing some research for a narration on her. My internet search has found Kateri referred to both ways, so I thought I'd check here. Please help?

Her canonization is still pending, so she's still Blessed. See Patron Saints Index for more information. I think it will be a huge deal in the US when this finally happens.

My dd chose Kateri for confirmation name, and at that time she was blessed (2005). There was some discussion whether my dd could choose her since her canonization process hadn't been finalized. As I recall they were waiting for a verified miracle, and I haven't heard anything more.
