Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Where is the best place to obtain these? Our Fathers House is out of stock on the ciborium, and they are expensive anyway. Are their any other suppliers? And a tabernacle? Thanks!

I am trying to think up ways to make my own ciborium, at least until OFH has them back in stock. My thought at the moment is a tin can turned upside down, spray painted gold with some kind of gold cross on top. This is just a thought...I am open to other homemade suggestions. I found a jewlrey box at a thrift store and painted it gold. I do not love it, but I think it will do the job for now. The kids helped me paint it so they think it is beautiful.

When I e-mailed Julia about the ciboria, she said that they were supposed to leave the company any day (this was a couple of weeks) and take a little over 45 days transit time.... so ideally by Christmas. I have a feeling that she will sell out fast when they do arrive. I hope she's ordered more than usual (or at least place another order before this one arrives). I know the tabernacles in the last 2 large orders were damaged so she's not offering them anymore....

I found a couple of gentlemen at our parishes that are making wood ones - we'll spray point those ones gold (I've got the spray paint - we're using it for a LOT!).

If you are a CGS member, you have access to the Shepherd's Closet which sometimes has items that can be used for ciboria (presuming they are still in stock, I am ordering two tomorrow - one has to print out the order form and mail it in - then they ship out the items and send an invoice - that way you only pay for what you actually purchase, in case they are out of stock).

go to cgsusa.org and download their members form and send it in.

You will have access to see Sofia's Atrium in Rome. Still in use today.
