I am watching Fr Tim Galagher on EWTN live at present, he is speaking on the topic of: "Ignatian Discernment in Daily Living" If you have the opportunity to watch it on TV or online I highly recommend it. He is speaking on what to do when we have dry periods of prayer, how we often don't realise how to handle this effectively and move forward in the spirtual life...I watch EWTN all the time and there is always good programs on...but this is an absolute gem, he refers directly to mum in the home with her children and the sprirtual struggles she deals with.

I was checking my schedule to see if it might have an encore, but at 7:34 pm ET we have a mass on the schedule. Was this a homily or a program? If it was part of a regular program, could you tell me which one and just maybe I can catch it later. It sounds great. Thanks, Valerie

Oooh, Anne. Sounds great! We (Brian and I) did a class in Ignatian discernment for the diaconate program. It's a wonderful thing to learn to do.

Thanks for the tip, Anne! I was able to tune in at the end, and since my TV was already set on EWTN, I could DVR the whole show.

It was EWTN LIVE. For some reason there doesn't seem to be archived video or audio.

But now I need to get his books. And you can buy the program and books from the EWTN Catalogue.
