Do you like this book - I was thinking of getting it for the twins to read - together with Inos Biffi's Illustrated Catechism. I was hoping this would be a good alternative to just reading the Baltimore Catechism.

Marilyn,
I'll be doing this with my 3 younger for "religion" this year; I like it alot but I'll keep you posted on how they (9, 8, 5-1/2) like it (as that doesn't always gibe with my feelings! )

We loved it! That is, me and my ds (9). It's very accessible--lots of adventure as well as helpful theological explanation--simple, but not dumbed down.
Go for it!

We're big fans as well. There was a point where I got away from it for a while and out of the blue the boys asked why we didn't read it anymore and told me that they had really enjoyed it and missed reading it. We packed up shortly there after, so I'm looking forward to unpacking it and putting it back into our weekly schedule.

We used it this past year, and they all loved it. Very well done.

We used it for part of our FHC prep with my son and all the other kids listened in. We all really enjoyed it.

I've been reading it with my lot. I intended it just for my 7yo, but my 6yo was also drawn in. Both enjoy it, although the prose is quite dense sometimes for them.
My 4yo hates it . It's not intended for her, but she chooses to be with us and grumbling rather than somewhere else having more fun...

I've skimmed through it and I like it. I'm reading it aloud to the children next year.
