Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi -- I noticed on a CGS post from two years ago that someone said Moira's album suggests using an overturned box as an altar. Does anyone know which album she says this in and the page number? If not . . . I am wondering if anyone has done this and what kind of box they used (i.e., did you use something more stable than an ordinary cardboard box? Did you paint it?)

Thanks!

Becky,
Before my very talented brother made us a beautiful altar for our CGS, we used an upside down clear bin. I stored the materials in the bin, then flipped it over to use it as the altar. You couldn't tell it was a bin because the altar cloth draped over it perfectly. Might take some measuring and looking to find the right size bin, but it's a start anyway.
