Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hey All-

Anyone reading the Catechism? I just added a new element to my blog, I'm now posting (as of week 5) weekly kids' activities (crafts and such) to correlate with the Catechism readings. I just love family style learning! I'd love it if anyone has any additional ideas to share in the comments section:

Yes, I am. Thanks so much for your dedication to this. The new element is even more than I ever expected from this.
Thanks again!

A friend and I just started reading about three weeks ago. We are getting together once a week to share our thoughts. However, she wanted to start with the second section, so we are kind of doing it backwards.

I was wondering how you have divided it for reading. Did you just divide based on pages and number of days or did you do it by topics?

At the rate we are going, I am thinking my friend and I will take about two years! We have spend a lot of time discussing various things, but I am thinking your link on your blog to the compendium may help us out! Thank you!

God Bless,
Stacy in MI

Really I would go much slower if I was setting the pace. There is so much there to discuss and learn! But it is good to have a guide to keep me on track, that is why I started the blog also, since I am easily side-tracked! I am following a printable schedule I found at the Coming Home Network website. It lists passages to read each day, I read 7 days worth per week:

I've started this many times, and never finished. But I really, really WANT to!
