Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I need to buy one as a gift and remember that some of the ladies here made them.

If I were going to buy a rosary I'd probably get it from Beads of Mercy I found this site through some 4Real blogs but I can't remember the name of the woman who makes them--I'm sure someone else will chime in!

A good friend of mine also makes beautiful rosaries. Here's her site, Miracoli Beads

This is Kimberlee and I am the happy recipient of one of her beautiful rosaries. It is by far, my favorite rosary - the beauty, craftmanship, elegance, and call to prayerfulness is something special. See...my eyes just started filling up with tears just thinking about my rosary...my loss that brought forth this gift...the friends who blessed me with it...the amazing prayer and personalization that went into making it...the healing that has come in part through it...happy and grateful . I am blessed!

Love,

I too, have been given one of Kimberlee's rosaries. They are wonderful. I cannot say enough how comforting and meaningful this special rosary is to me. And like Angie, the friends who sent it to me, are so special.

I have a rosary made by Kimberlee's son! He sent several, one for my son, leaving for Iraq, and others to be given to Catholics he knows. They are the camo-knotted rosaries.

Alice Cantrell also sells handmade rosaries at Gardens of Grace. I think she's been an infrequent member here, and has written two books sold by CHC, Sewing with Saint Anne and Tea and Cake with the Saints.

I gave my son one of Kimberlee's rosaries for his First Communion. It was pretty much custom ordered and I ordered rather late , and as busy as she was, she got it to me before his special day. He treasures the rosary made just for him.

I have a beautiful rosary that Kimberlee made for me before I left the states. I pray on it daily ... it is my favorite rosary. Two of my children will be receiving Confirmation this year, and I am thinking a rosary from Kimberlee would be a great gift.

I have 2 of Jennifer's rosaries and one chaplet...they are beautiful and custom made. She donates a large portion of the proceeds to charitable causes including our Catholic soldiers!
